Impact/Development Intern

Key Responsibilities 

1. Research & Community Insights

  • Conduct research on healthcare worker needs, community trends, and nonprofit best practices.
  • Develop briefs or summaries that inform fundraising, HR initiatives, marketing content, and program planning.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing qualitative or quantitative data to strengthen decision-making.

2. Program & Initiative Support

  • Assist in planning and executing events, outreach initiatives, or community engagement efforts.
  • Support logistics and preparation for organizational initiatives led by Research, Operations, or Planning teams.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance program effectiveness and volunteer engagement.

3. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Provide research or planning support to HR, Business Development, and Marketing as needed.
  • Work with leadership to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in regular check-ins to align work with organizational priorities.

4. Exploration & Specialization Opportunity

  • During the initial phase of the internship, gain exposure across the 3 Depts. 
  • Work with the Operations Department and other relevant teams to provide insights that strengthen fundraising campaigns and lead to organizational development.
