Project Purchasing Intern
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Buyers with regional and global development programs
- Prepare and issue RFQ packages to suppliers
- Review, summarize, and analyze supplier quotations
- Support sourcing activities for bill of material (BOM) components
- Assist the Project Purchasing team with supplier negotiations
- Conduct basic supply base and market research
- Perform benchmarking and supplier capacity studies
- Create and issue spot purchase orders (POs) and supplier agreements (SAs)
Personal Background
- Currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant Business Major
- Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited university by the Summer of 2023
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or better
Job Technical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to collect, maintain, and analyze data
