Technology Services Intern

Overview:

As a Technology Services Intern, you will work alongside your mentor and fellow team members on a strategic project designed to improve our operational effectiveness. Through research, analysis, and collaboration, you will develop a greater understanding of German American’s Technology team and the meaningful work they do to support the organization.

What You’ll Do:
A Day in the Life - You’ll partner with technology teams on an assigned project, gaining exposure to different areas of the bank’s technology environment while supporting analysis, documentation, and solution evaluation. You’ll also learn how technology initiatives are planned, executed, and supported within a regulated financial services organization. Your program capstone includes a formal presentation to share information about your project and provide a recommendation for the best next steps for carrying the project forward. 

What it Takes:
This internship is for an undergraduate student in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and related courses of study from an accredited college/university with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (cumulative). To thrive in this role, you must have outstanding work ethic, project and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work well individually and in teams. Being highly motivated, resourceful and results-driven will help you to complete the necessary milestones of the project. You must also have the ability to ask questions, as well as provide and receive feedback. Access to reliable transportation for various training and networking events is required.
