Job Summary
FordDirect is looking to hire an Intern for our Summer Internship Program. This role will work on our Enterprise Operations Team responsible for establishing, implementing and improving companywide best practices. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain real-world, corporate experience on an Operations team.
This will be a full-time, paid position based in Dearborn, MI
Hybrid: Intern will be required to work in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Duration: June 8th through August 28th, 2026
Essential Functions
- Build AI assistants to give Product Owners and Development teams guidance to create roadmaps
- Construct role-based dashboards and reports for key audiences
- Streamline and improve reporting suite
- Build searchable SharePoint registry of operations workflows and communications
- Create survey for operations tool notifications (Jira)
Learning Opportunities
- Cross functional systems understanding by deep exposure to end-to-end workflows
- Interview stakeholders to understand operational pain points and validate with data
- Understanding of business impact, tangible deliverables and continuous improvement
- Create dashboards, reports, documentation and knowledge repositories
- Exposure to Jira, EazyBI, SharePoint/Power Automate and Confluence

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Technical aptitude with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), advanced Excel skills
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Good communication skills, able to conduct interviews, listen and translate ambiguity into requirements
- Systems aptitude with the ability to understand metrics and data
- Self-driven and can independently manage work tasks and deadlines
Education
Senior student pursuing degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management or related fields
Background Checks including criminal history and drug screening will be required
