Social Media and Brand Marketing Intern

Join Pearle, a plant-based caviar company at the intersection of culinary heritage and sustainability. 

Founded by a Harvard Business School alum inspired by a love of food and firsthand experience in the luxury industry at LVMH and Gagosian, Pearle's goal is to provide customers with the look, taste, and feel of caviar without harming sturgeon, the most endangered species group on the planet.

About Pearle

Pearle is a venture-backed luxury food startup using the science of molecular gastronomy to create an entirely plant-based, ethically sourced, and meticulously crafted seaweed caviar to honor the flavor, texture, and tradition of sturgeon caviar without contributing to the collapse of a species on the brink of extinction.

Our product has already caught the attention of tastemakers, including Alix Earle, who shared it with her audience on Instagram.

Internship Overview

This is a hands-on role for a creative thinker who wants to help shape the voice of our brand. You’ll partner with the founder to develop social-first content, explore influencer strategy, and build a polished recipe series, all in service of learning brand marketing in a luxury, sustainability-driven CPG company.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create a social media strategy (with a focus on Instagram) that captures Pearle’s minimal, timeless aesthetic
  • Build a target list of IG & TikTok influencers who reflect and align with our brand ethos
  • Design and execute a “Sunday Recipe Series” featuring Pearle as an ingredient (caviar bagels, deviled eggs, really anything you can dream up that could benefit from a bump of caviar).
  • Pitch and test your own serialized formats: food styling tips, spotlight guests, behind-the-scenes shoots
  • Collaborate with the founder to refine tone, pacing, and visual storytelling

  • Regularly use TikTok, IG, or Pinterest to explore taste and style
  • Enjoy ideating and piloting new social formats, not just execution
  • Can commit 5 hrs/week over 10 weeks to this immersive opportunity
