The Advocates for Human Rights -Women's Rights Program Assistant
The Women’s Rights Program works on various projects to end violence against women and girls locally and globally. The Program Assistant will provide administrative support and help the Women’s Rights Program team carry out its work in our court observation program (WATCH), international advocacy, and other research and writing tasks.
Assist with various tasks to support our WATCH court observation program, including the support of the creation of court calendars; serving as a point person for observation volunteers along with the team; supporting coordinating consultations with WATCH advisors, and supporting the development of networks and partnerships.
Assuming responsibility for screening, recruiting, training, onboarding, managing, and offboarding remote and in-person interns and volunteers.
Assist with other administrative tasks, including notetaking, coordinating travel or trainings as needed, and support planning and logistics for virtual and U.S.-based events such as volunteer training, lectures, conferences, and other events designed to foster greater understanding of human rights.
Support research, drafting, publication and dissemination of women’s rights reports, submissions to the UN and regional human rights mechanisms, workshop and training curricula, factsheets, and other materials on women's human rights.
Assist with other issue areas, in terms of administrative, research and writing support, as they arise pertinent to women’s rights work, including the global anti-gender movement.
