Research and Technology Co-op

The Watts Co-op Program is your chance to bring what you’ve learned in the classroom to life! You’ll dive into real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning how business really works from the inside. During the program, you’ll get to roll up your sleeves and make an impact on day-to-day operations. What You’ll Do  

Work on pressure regulator product line

Assist in lab setting with the evaluation of products

Perform root cause analysis

Engage in sandbox engineering and learn more about these concepts

 

EDUCATION:

Currently pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at an accredited college.

Leadership role in collegiate extracurricular activities

Superior analytical and quantitative skills; Technical proficiency required

Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills

Strong PC skills including MS Suite (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Project management experience preferred

Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact

Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments

Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
