What you’ll do: The IT/HCM Technology & Testing Support Intern will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the new HCM solution across the Americas. You will assist HR, IT, and project teams by coordinating project activities, collecting and analyzing business requirements, supporting system configuration, and participating in testing and quality assurance cycles.

 

This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise IT Integration and  HR technology transformation, exposure to cross‑functional teams, and the opportunity to contribute directly to a major digital implementation initiative.. 

 

 

Duties / Responsibilities of this position: 

1. Project Support & Coordination

  • Project Planning and Coordination
  • Assist the HCM project team with day‑to‑day coordination activities.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Maintain project documentation, shared folders, and version control.

2. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Work with HR and IT teams to gather and document business requirements.
  • Participate in workshops, capture notes, and translate needs into structured requirement templates.
  • Support mapping of current HR processes to future‑state workflows.

3. System Configuration Assistance

(Under supervision of functional consultants)

  • Prepare configuration workbooks (organization structure, job catalog, pay structures, etc.).
  • Perform data entry and validation activities.
  • Assist with configuration unit testing by executing scripted test cases.

4. Data Migration Support

  • Collect, cleanse, and format employee and organizational data.
  • Support mapping legacy data fields to new HCM system fields.
  • Conduct initial validation checks and flag inconsistencies.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Execute test scripts, document results, and log defects.
  • Assist with retesting and validating resolved issues.

6. Training & Documentation

  • Support development of end‑user training materials, job aids, and process guides.
  • Help organize training sessions and prepare demo environments.
  • Update documentation as system design evolves.

7. Additional Responsibilities

  • Support tasks assigned by the project team as required.
  • Contribute to ensuring a successful deployment of the HCM solution for Payroll, Timekeeping, and Benefits in the U.S.

 

Job Requirements:

    • Undergraduate student (preferred major: Information Technology, Computer Science, HR Information Systems, Business, or related field)
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
    • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into structured requirements.
    • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
    • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PM tools
    • Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
