Title: AI Engineering

About the Role

auxi is seeking ambitious, technically strong AI Software Engineering to join our fast-moving engineering team. This position is tailored toward Master’s students, PhD candidates, and recent graduates who want hands-on experience building production-grade AI products used by knowledge workers worldwide.

You will work directly with our technical team to design, build, and deploy new AI-powered features and backend systems. As an early member of a rapidly growing startup, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, experiment with new technologies, and contribute across the full engineering lifecycle.

This role begins immediately. Particularly looking for those that have recently graduated or with a graduation date of May or December 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to computer vision, machine learning, and AI automation projects from design to deployment.
  • Develop, test, maintain, and improve production-quality software and backend systems.
  • Own project deliverables, timelines, and documentation with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to share ideas, request support, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping, experimentation, and exploration of emerging technologies.
  • Fine tune LLM models.
  • Create custom agents with specific workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a master or PhD Computer Science program or related technical field and possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Experienced working on deep learning models (advanced machine learning) and LLMs
  • Hands-on experience with two or more of the following: Python, C#, C++, Swift (iOS), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, or other ML/AI frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in fast-paced, exploratory environments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, and collaborate within a small, high-velocity engineering team.
