Customer Operations Intern – East Lansing, MI – Michigan State University
The Vertafore internship program is designed to provide vital learning and practical professional experience to take with you into your future career. During the 10-week program, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company while working hand in hand with various teams across the organization. As an intern, you will be assigned a specific project that will focus on an actual Vertafore need and opportunity for process improvement at Vertafore. You’ll truly be a member of the team, and in your day-to-day, you’ll work with, be mentored by, and receive valuable performance feedback from senior leadership and management teams. Interns also participate in various educational seminars, will be educated on real-world applicable workplace skills, and learn career management/development best practices.
Responsibilities:
In this internship, the intern will support DCM in the launch, adoption, and ongoing support of AgentForce. The role will focus primarily on documentation and enablement, including developing and organizing training materials, process documentation, FAQs, reporting guides, and support workflows to improve adoption and the overall user experience. The intern will work with stakeholders to identify gaps, help standardize materials, and ensure resources are clear, accessible, and aligned to operational needs.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
This role requires good written communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in organizing information clearly and logically.
Should be comfortable working in Microsoft 365; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, and they will gather stakeholder input to translate into structured documentation with guidance from their mentor.
Relevant areas of study include business, communications, information systems, or related fields.
