USA Entertainment Ventures is expanding its creative ecosystem across books, magazines, educational materials, and multimedia publishing. Our mission is to empower youth and emerging creators through accessible storytelling, digital literacy, and innovative media platforms that open real pathways into the entertainment and publishing industries.

We’re seeking energetic, curious, and creative interns who want hands‑on experience in publishing, marketing, advertising, and distribution. You’ll work across national and international platforms—including Amazon, OverDrive, Barnes & Noble Press, Scribd, and more—gaining real‑world experience inside a fast‑growing digital publishing operation.

Role Focus

As a Publishing, Marketing & Distribution Intern, you’ll support the promotion, launch, and distribution of USAEV’s books, magazines, and educational publications. You’ll learn how to market creative works, optimize metadata, manage listings, and build outreach strategies for schools, libraries, bookstores, and digital platforms.

This role is ideal for someone interested in publishing, digital marketing, media sales, or content distribution.

What You’ll Learn & Contribute To

📚 Publishing Marketing & Outreach

  • Promote books, magazines, and educational materials to libraries, schools, bookstores, and online retailers.
  • Build press lists, outreach strategies, and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Support direct‑to‑consumer and institutional sales funnels.

🌐 Platform Operations

  • List, launch, and promote titles on platforms such as:
    • Amazon KDP
    • OverDrive
    • Scribd
    • Barnes & Noble Press
    • Additional digital and print‑on‑demand platforms
  • Manage metadata, keywords, categories, and SEO for publishing.

📣 Digital Marketing & Advertising

  • Support social media strategy for publishing (organic + paid).
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletter promotion.
  • Apply keyword optimization, metadata structuring, and search visibility techniques.
  • Contribute to cross‑platform promotional strategy from print to digital.

📝 Content & Campaign Support

  • Draft marketing copy, promotional materials, and digital advertising assets.
  • Support outreach to educators, librarians, bookstores, and youth‑serving organizations.
  • Collaborate with editorial, design, and media teams to ensure cohesive messaging.

Your Qualifications

  • Interest in publishing, communications, marketing, media sales, or digital content.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like Amazon KDP, Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar platforms (preferred but not required).
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and basic analytics tools.
  • Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and detail‑oriented.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn quickly.
