Your Mission: Shape Stories That Inspire and Connect

This immersive internship places you at the center of digital storytelling, broadcasting, and creative media production. You’ll collaborate with experienced creators, editors, and producers to craft content for newsletters, blogs, livestreams, podcasts, digital publications, and social platforms. Whether your passion is writing, interviewing, speaking, streaming, or multimedia creation, USAEV gives you the tools, structure, and creative freedom to grow.

Required Meetings

  • Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
  • Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
  • Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
  • SkillBridge participants: Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST

Content Creation & Blogging — Find Your Voice

  • Write compelling stories for newsletters, blogs, and digital platforms.
  • Explore youth culture, creative industries, community stories, and trending topics.
  • Craft promotional and marketing copy that supports USAEV’s mission and digital campaigns.

Broadcasting, Streaming & Podcasting — Take the Mic

  • Assist in hosting or producing livestreams, podcasts, interviews, or digital broadcasts.
  • Engage audiences through dynamic on‑camera or on‑mic presence.
  • Experiment with new ways to deliver interactive, youth‑centered digital content.

Digital News & Story Development — Be the First to Tell the Story

  • Research and write timely articles for USAEV’s digital news channels.
  • Track emerging trends in youth culture, digital media, and creative communities.
  • Help ensure content remains relevant, fresh, and aligned with USAEV’s mission.

Interviews & Features — Capture the Human Story

  • Conduct interviews with creators, youth leaders, educators, and community partners.
  • Collaborate on in‑depth features that highlight personal journeys, creative impact, and community stories.

Your Growth Experience

  • Participate in workshops, editorial meetings, and skill‑building sessions.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced journalists, editors, and digital creators.
  • Build a strong creative portfolio that reflects your voice, versatility, and professional growth.

Do You Have the Drive?

  • Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
  • Passion for youth‑centered media, digital storytelling, or creative broadcasting.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to develop broadcasting, streaming, or multimedia skills.
  • Familiarity with digital content tools, streaming platforms, or social media.
  • Willingness to learn AI‑assisted writing and content tools.
