USA Entertainment Ventures is building the next generation of sports storytellers — creators who inform, inspire, and elevate the voices of young fans and emerging journalists. Our Sports Media division produces dynamic, youth‑centered content across newsletters, blogs, digital news networks, livestreams, podcasts, and social platforms.

We’re seeking passionate, driven, and creative emerging sports journalists who want hands‑on experience in broadcasting, blogging, podcasting, digital reporting, and multimedia content creation. Your Mission: Own the Narrative. Engage the Fans. Shape the Story.

This immersive internship places you at the heart of sports journalism, digital storytelling, and live broadcasting. You’ll collaborate with experienced producers, editors, and content creators to craft compelling stories for newsletters, blogs, digital news channels, livestreams, podcasts, and social media.

Whether your passion is live commentary, in‑depth reporting, interviewing athletes, or creating high‑energy digital content, USAEV gives you the tools, mentorship, and creative freedom to grow.

Required Meetings

  • Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
  • Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
  • Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
  • SkillBridge participants: Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST

Content Creation & Blogging — Tell the Stories Fans Care About

  • Write engaging content for newsletters, blogs, and sports media platforms.
  • Break down games, analyze athlete performance, and explore trending sports topics.
  • Craft promotional and marketing copy that supports USAEV’s digital campaigns and brand voice.

Broadcasting & Streaming — Take the Mic and Lead the Conversation

  • Assist in broadcasting live sports events and conducting interviews with athletes and coaches.
  • Engage audiences through livestreams, podcasts, and dynamic video content.
  • Experiment with innovative streaming formats that bring fans closer to the action.

Sports Media News Network — Be the First to Break the Story

  • Research and produce timely articles for USAEV’s sports news channels.
  • Track breaking sports news and emerging trends across leagues and teams.
  • Help ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and ahead of the curve.
     

Interviews & Features — Capture the Human Side of Sports

  • Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and sports industry professionals.
  • Collaborate on feature stories that highlight personal journeys, strategy, culture, and community impact.

Your Growth Experience

  • Participate in workshops, editorial meetings, and skill‑building sessions.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced journalists, broadcasters, and digital creators.
  • Build a professional portfolio that showcases your voice, versatility, and sports media expertise.

Do You Have the Drive?

  • Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, Sports Media, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
  • Passion for sports, sports journalism, and digital media.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to develop broadcasting, streaming, and multimedia skills.
  • Familiarity with digital content tools, streaming platforms, and social media.
