Your Mission: Become the Voice Behind USAEV

As a Public Relations & Digital Communications Intern, you’ll dive into the fast‑paced world of digital PR, gaining real‑world experience developing and executing communication strategies that elevate USAEV’s brand and creator‑driven initiatives. You’ll collaborate with experienced PR professionals, creative teams, and media partners to craft narratives that make an impact.

What You’ll Do

🎤 Become a Media Connector

  • Help build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, creators, and digital media partners.
  • Support outreach efforts that position USAEV as a trusted voice in youth‑centered media.

📰 Craft the Headlines

  • Write compelling press releases, media advisories, brand statements, and communication materials.
  • Learn how to shape messaging that cuts through the noise and captures attention.

🎬 Support Creative Events & Launches

  • Assist with publicity strategies for digital events, program launches, and community‑driven initiatives.
  • Coordinate media outreach, attendance, and coverage.

✍️ Create Engaging Content

  • Contribute to press kits, newsletters, social media messaging, and storytelling pieces.
  • Highlight USAEV’s mission, creators, and community impact through compelling written content.

Navigate Real‑World Communications

  • Gain exposure to crisis communication planning and learn how to support the team with clarity and professionalism.

📊 Become a PR Analyst

  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports.
  • Analyze campaign performance and turn insights into actionable strategy.

Required Meetings

  • Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
  • Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
  • Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
  • SkillBridge participants also meet Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST

Do You Have the PR Power?

  • Pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of PR fundamentals and media relations.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication trends.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about storytelling, youth culture, and digital media.
