Working alongside Sports Media, Zoo Media, and Dakdan Workforce & Development, USAEV develops tools, systems, and digital experiences that support creators, athletes, educators, and mission‑driven organizations.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you’ll work directly with our engineering, media, and product teams to design, develop, and deploy new features across USAEV’s digital ecosystem. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in:

  • Building scalable web applications for sports, esports, entertainment, and NIL programs
  • Working with APIs, cloud platforms, and databases
  • Contributing to frontend UX/UI design and backend architecture
  • Supporting live projects for USAEV websites and AI‑integrated software

What You’ll Do

🤖 AI‑Driven Development

  • Develop and test custom software solutions that integrate AI, automation, and real‑time data analysis.
  • Experiment with machine learning models, NLP systems, and recommendation engines for internal and client‑facing tools.

🧩 Full Stack Application Building

  • Build front‑end and back‑end components for websites, mobile apps, and dashboards.
  • Support UI/UX optimization and ensure cross‑platform functionality and responsiveness.

🛠️ Custom Tool Creation

  • Build internal tools for media automation, marketing workflows, and business operations.
  • Assist in developing proprietary applications used across sports, entertainment, publishing, and travel.

🤝 Cross‑Department Collaboration

  • Partner with creative, analytics, and strategy teams to deliver full‑cycle software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, daily scrums, and Agile planning meetings.

🔬 Innovation & Research

  • Contribute to product R&D and testing of emerging technologies.
  • Analyze competing platforms and build case studies to support product enhancements.

Preferred Skills

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python
  • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase
  • RESTful APIs, GitHub/GitLab, AWS or Google Cloud
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, or similar frameworks
  • Interest in AI technologies, machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, OpenAI, LangChain), and automation APIs
  • Experience with GitHub/GitLab workflows and Agile development
  • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment and iterate quickly

  • Duration: 120–365 days
  • Weekly Meetings:
    • Monday — 9:00 AM MST
    • Wednesday — 10:00 AM MST
    • Friday — 8:00 AM MST
  • SkillBridge participants also meet:
    • Thursday — 9:00 AM MST

  • June 1–5 — Summer
  • August 1–5 — Fall
  • October 1–5 — Late Fall/Winter
