Paralegal Intern — USA Entertainment Ventures

USA Entertainment Ventures is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Paralegal Intern to support our legal, compliance, and business operations teams. This internship offers hands‑on experience in legal research, document drafting, contract review, intellectual property filings, and organizational compliance across entertainment, media, sports, and youth‑focused initiatives.

You’ll work closely with legal and administrative staff to prepare documents, organize case materials, conduct research, and support the development of legal strategies that protect and advance USAEV’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

📄 Document Drafting & Legal Support

  • Draft agreements, vendor contracts, sponsorship documents, and related materials.
  • Prepare sports licensing applications and assist with compliance documentation.
  • Support the creation of legal arguments, statements, motions, and written reports.
  • Assist with preparing documents for government contract opportunities.

🔍 Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
  • Analyze and organize findings into clear, structured summaries.
  • Support legal teams with case preparation and information gathering.

🧾 Intellectual Property & Contract Review

  • Assist with filing trademarks and copyrights.
  • Support trademark enforcement and monitoring activities.
  • Review vendor relationship contracts and identify key terms or risks.

🗂️ Organization & Case Preparation

  • Maintain and organize digital files, case materials, and research documents.
  • Prepare information for internal teams and external partners.
  • Support additional legal and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Availability for required virtual meetings:
    • Monday — 9:00 AM MST
    • Wednesday — 10:00 AM MST
    • Friday — 8:00 AM MST
    • SkillBridge participants also meet Thursday — 9:00 AM MST
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and digital productivity tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
  • Remote‑only position.
