USA Entertainment Ventures is seeking a talented and imaginative Copywriter Intern to join our digital‑first storytelling team. This role is ideal for a passionate writer who wants to grow in copywriting, editing, and multi‑platform publishing — including digital media, online magazines, eBooks, youth‑focused publications, and creator‑driven content.
As a Copywriter Intern, you will help craft compelling narratives for marketing campaigns, social media, editorial features, branded materials, and digital storytelling initiatives. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in the modern publishing landscape and learn how to create, refine, and distribute content across both traditional and emerging formats. You’ll also explore the fast‑growing world of influencer and creator‑based media, developing strategies that resonate with youth audiences and support USAEV’s mission.
Position Overview
You will work remotely to support the growth and creative impact of USA Entertainment Ventures and its affiliated media initiatives. You’ll learn what it takes to shape and manage a brand voice, build meaningful narratives, and contribute to digital‑first content that reaches diverse audiences. You’ll also gain exposure to creator culture, youth engagement, and modern media publishing.
This internship is available during Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall onboarding cycles.
Key Responsibilities
✍️ Editing & Content Quality
- Proofread and edit articles with a sharp eye for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax.
- Ensure clarity, accuracy, structure, and logical flow in all written content.
- Maintain consistency with brand voice and editorial style guidelines.
- Support content revisions and quality checks across multiple platforms.
📝 Copywriting & Story Development
- Assist in drafting copy for marketing campaigns, social media, newsletters, and branded materials.
- Contribute to editorial features, youth‑focused publications, and digital storytelling projects.
- Help refine narratives to ensure they are engaging, professional, and aligned with USAEV’s mission.
🤝 Collaboration & Creative Support
- Work closely with writers, editors, designers, and media teams.
- Participate in content planning sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Support additional writing and editing tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Availability for required virtual meetings:
- Monday — 9:00 AM MST
- Wednesday — 10:00 AM MST
- Friday — 8:00 AM MST
- SkillBridge participants also meet Thursday — 9:00 AM MST
- Current undergraduate student majoring in Journalism, Communications, English, Media, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word or Google Docs; familiarity with Excel and digital communication tools.
- Strong editing, writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to retain a writer’s voice while improving clarity and structure.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in team environments.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and meet deadlines.
