Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern


II. Job Summary
The Marketing Intern will work directly with the CHCC Marketing Director to assist with the creation of marketing content and Club communications. They will have an opportunity to create social media content – including both photo and video materials, along with captions. They will play a key role in proofreading Club emails, newsletters, mailings, and more. They may also assist with graphic design projects, email marketing, website updates, branded materials, administrative tasks, and more. 


They will have the opportunity to have an impact on our marketing strategies and initiatives; and may coordinate with our Junior Sports, Event Planning, Golf, Grounds, and Culinary Teams – along with others! Content will be focused on highlighting our summer events, junior sports programs, golf tournaments, dining specials or new menu releases, and more.

 

III. Job Tasks (Duties)

  • Assist with and proofread email communications, Club newsletters, branded materials, online event registrations, event marketing, and more.
  • Create engaging, interactive content for social media platforms focused on junior sports programming, golf tournaments, summer events, dining, and more. Capture and edit photos and videos of club events.
  • Interact with club membership and coworkers in a professional and polite manner. Respond to emails and voicemails in a timely and professional manner. Assist with administrative tasks, mailings, and phone calls in the business office as needed. 

IV. Candidate Qualifications

  • Current student studying marketing, digital marketing, or communications preferred. Open to students studying event planning, business administration, graphic design, English, or a related field. 
  • Proficient with English grammar and possesses skills in writing, copywriting, proofreading, and editing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, Google business suite, and Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design and video/photo editing software required. Knowledge of social media and trends encouraged. Knowledge of website development/design is a bonus. 
  • Experience in office environment or customer service experience is a plus. Past work or involvement with sports programs, coaching, or childcare may be helpful. 
  • The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, an ability to successfully work both independently and collaboratively, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and is self-motivated and takes an interest in learning. 
  • Must maintain punctual attendance with scheduled hours and comply with all CHCC policies and procedures.

Summer Intern, Part-Time, Flexible Hours (estimated approximately 15 hours per week)
Start: As soon as April or May 2026 (sooner preferred)
End: August 2026 (with potential for extension)
