US Stadium Research Intern

Internship Overview

This internship combines research, data analysis, and business development exposure. Interns will investigate how stadiums and large venues are managed, how sustainability certifications work, and how universities approach their net-zero commitments in practice.

Interns will start by researching stadiums at their own university or nearby campuses, then explore how sustainability certifications and external consulting relationships work for those venues.


This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in:

Internship Structure


Stage 1 – Stadium & Venue Research

Interns will identify and research stadiums and arenas at their university.

Responsibilities include:

Identifying major indoor or outdoor sports venues

Researching who manages and operates the stadium

Understanding the university’s sustainability or net-zero goals

Documenting current transportation or mobility initiatives

 

Stage 2 – Certification Process Research

Interns will explore how sustainability certifications work at their university.

Responsibilities include:

Identifying departments responsible for stadium operations or sustainability

Determining whether the university works with external consultants for certifications

Understanding how a certification decision is made for large venues

Assessing potential interest in ModeScore certification
