Froemke Internship
The Academic Success Center (ASC) seeks an outstanding undergraduate math student to the prestigious Froemke Internship for academic year 2026-2027. The goal of this internship is to support and improve student success and retention in math. Intern responsibilities include developing a project that benefits students enrolled in math courses at OU, serving as a liaison between the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Academic Success Center, being a Supplemental Instruction Leader in a math or statistics course in the fall and winter semesters, holding math tutor hours with the ASC, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Enrolled OU student during internship semesters. Priority will be given to students majoring in Mathematics, Mathematics for Educators, Applied Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
- Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in completed math courses
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Personable and empathetic towards people learning new things
Desirable qualifications
- Computer proficiency
- Previous successful work as an ASC tutor or SI Leader

- Attend training before starting the position
- Intern will receive Froemke Scholarship each semester
