Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst at Incture, you will be responsible for translating business specifications and problems into functional specifications while acting as a crucial link between the delivery team and business stakeholders. You may work in one of these domains - Manufacturing, Automotive, CPGR, Oil & Gas, Pharma.
Your responsibilities include:
- Requirements Translation: Translate business specifications and problems into functional specifications that drive solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a conduit between the business stakeholders and delivery team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Business Requirements: Understand and prioritize business requirements from various stakeholders, including clients, and simplify these requirements for buy-in from all relevant parties.

Change Management & Training:
- Assess change management proposals and define solutions to help the organization achieve its goals.
- Collaborate with the training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a change management/training plan.
- Business Needs: Discover, organize, and clarify business needs, and produce specifications for change.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure a shared understanding of specifications and address ad-hoc requirements.
- Business Case: Articulate the business case to stakeholders, providing strong arguments for proposed solutions, demonstrating improvements in business processes backed by quantifiable benefits.
- Key Business Documents: Play a proactive role in the creation of critical business documents such as requirement gathering, response to Request for Proposals (RFP), Proposals, Scope of Work (SOW), Proof of Concept (POC), etc., with valuable inputs from a business perspective.
Relevant Experience & Competencies
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with any one of Manufacturing, Automotive, CPGR, Oil & Gas, Pharma
- IT Industry & Project Management: Knowledge of the IT industry, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and project management best practices.
- Business Intelligence/Analytics: Proficiency in business intelligence and analytics tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and consultative skills are highly valued.
- Problem Solving: Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent documentation skills
Experience level
Prior IT industry experience of at least 1-2 years
While job location is Houston - initial training may involve travel to Calgary -hence interested candidate must be visa ready with necessary travel authorization.
