The Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development Strategist Internship is designed to build and optimize a scalable recruiting and workforce pipeline. You’ll design structured recruiting funnels, implement CRM‑based workflows, manage university and veteran partnerships, and create onboarding systems that increase throughput while reducing cost per hire. Your work directly supports Zoo Media’s mission of developing creators, athletes, and emerging professionals.
This internship is available through SkillBridge, apprenticeship pathways, and civilian internship tracks.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting Funnel Design & CRM Workflow Management
- Design and optimize multi‑stage recruiting funnels for interns, apprentices, and full‑time roles
- Build automated workflows within Zoo Media’s CRM and talent systems
- Create structured follow‑up sequences that maintain candidate engagement
- Implement lead scoring, candidate tracking, and pipeline visibility tools
- Develop automation that reduces manual workload and increases efficiency
Structured Onboarding Systems
- Develop standardized onboarding sequences tailored to each department
- Align onboarding content with existing SOPs and training frameworks
- Create 30‑60‑90 day performance pathways with measurable milestones
- Build training dashboards to monitor progress, engagement, and readiness
- Ensure accountability systems are integrated from day one
Role‑Specific Job Architecture
- Create detailed job descriptions aligned with operational workflows and SOPs
- Define clear KPIs and measurable outcomes for each role
- Collaborate with department leaders to refine position requirements
- Ensure postings accurately reflect real responsibilities and expectations
University, Veteran & SkillBridge Pipeline Management
- Build partnerships with universities, career centers, and academic programs
- Develop outreach systems for veteran and transitioning military talent
- Coordinate SkillBridge documentation, placement workflows, and compliance
- Create structured internship and apprenticeship pathways across departments
- Maintain engagement systems that support long‑term talent retention
Recruiting Metrics & Retention Analytics
- Track cost per hire, applicant conversion rates, and onboarding completion
- Build dashboards to monitor retention indicators and workforce health
- Analyze pipeline performance to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
- Report workforce trends and insights to leadership
Requirements
- Interest in human resources, workforce strategy, operations management, or recruiting systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Comfort working within CRM platforms and workflow automation tools
- Ability to manage structured processes with attention to detail
- Interest in building scalable systems rather than one‑off hiring efforts
- Self‑motivated and committed to building high‑performance teams
Availability for virtual meetings:
Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
