Your Mission: Report the Stories That Move Communities

As a Journalism & Digital Reporting Intern, you’ll contribute to the FanZ editorial ecosystem across blogs, digital news channels, newsletters, and social platforms. You’ll help uncover stories, track trends, and highlight the creators, fans, and communities shaping today’s culture.

You’ll work closely with editors, producers, and fellow creators to develop your reporting voice, strengthen your writing, and publish work that reaches real audiences.

What You’ll Do

Digital Reporting & Newswriting

  • Research and write timely articles for FanZ digital news and culture channels.
  • Cover emerging trends in youth culture, fandom, entertainment, sports, and digital media.
  • Pitch story ideas that reflect what fans are talking about and what creators are building.

Interviews & Human‑Centered Features

  • Conduct interviews with creators, athletes, youth leaders, and community partners.
  • Develop feature stories that highlight personal journeys, creative impact, and fan‑driven narratives.
  • Capture authentic voices and perspectives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Editorial Collaboration

  • Participate in editorial meetings, pitch sessions, and content planning discussions.
  • Work with editors to revise, refine, and strengthen your reporting.
  • Ensure all content aligns with FanZ’s mission, values, and youth‑centered approach.

Cross‑Platform Storytelling

  • Adapt stories for blogs, newsletters, social media, and multimedia formats.
  • Support digital campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate reporting with livestreams, podcasts, or creator collaborations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, research, and storytelling abilities.
  • Curiosity about youth culture, fandom, digital communities, and creator‑driven media.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Interest in interviewing, reporting, or feature writing.
  • Familiarity with digital content tools, social platforms, or multimedia storytelling.
  • Willingness to learn AI‑assisted writing and editorial tools.
