Position Overview:
This research project examines the association between long-term care staffing levels and care quality, specifically focusing on medication administration and nursing oversight within the context of new regulatory mandates.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze datasets from the quarterly Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ ) datasets and analyze the staffing level data which includes the current quarter and historical data for trend analysis;
- Compile and analyze the nursing home federal data to identify common deficiencies, with a particular focus on medication administration and nursing oversight;
- Examine the association between nursing home staffing levels and the deficiency.
