Frontend Engineering Intern

Arkra (www.arkra.com) is looking for Frontend Engineering Interns to help shape the future of commercial lending. We are building a B2B fintech platform that modernizes how businesses access equipment financing, an industry that moves over $100B annually in the US alone.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with a lean, highly talented engineering team and industry veterans who have built and scaled companies before. You will gain hands-on experience in product development, AI-driven workflows, and startup operations from day one.

We are backed by VC investors and are moving quickly to bring our MVP to market. This internship is perfect for builders who want to contribute to something meaningful, grow fast, and play a role in transforming an outdated industry.

What You Will Do

  • Build fast, clean, responsive UI components using React JS, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate your workflow, troubleshoot, test, and ship features independently
  • Translate design mockups into polished, production-ready components
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and collaborate directly with our CTO and founders
  • Learn how commercial lending works and how software can reshape it
  • Be part of major product decisions, not just a ticket-taker

     

What We Look For

  • Strong grasp of frontend fundamentals
  • Excited about AI and eager to apply tools like Windsurf IDE, ChatGPT, or others in your workflow
  • Comfortable working independently and self-managing your tasks
    Some experience with React, Tailwind, or similar technologies
  • Bonus if you have built side projects or contributed to real-world products
    Curiosity, humility, and a bias toward shipping
