Junior Data Engineer
We are looking for a curious, motivated data engineer to join our growing data platform team. You will help design, build, and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure that power our analytics, reporting, and machine learning products. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to work at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.
- Design and optimize data models in data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift).
- Collaborate with data analysts and ML engineers to understand data requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and improve data quality and observability.
- Write clean, well-documented SQL and Python code following team standards.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional data discussions.
- Assist in migrating legacy ETL workflows to modern ELT-based architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional or internship experience is a big plus
