Maintenance Specialist - Water Resource Recovery Facility
JOB SUMMARY
Diagnose and perform specialized repair of pump systems, chemical feed systems, heating/mechanical systems, and any/all other wastewater equipment. Ability to do welding and machining on wastewater plant equipment. Perform specialized repair or replacement of major equipment. Required to perform confined space entries. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. May provide lead supervision for assigned projects.

REQUIREMENTS
Two years of responsible maintenance experience in a municipal wastewater or industrial plant required. Specialized trade school courses in pump or electrical maintenance preferred.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license, with an excellent driving record.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a “D” operator’s license within two (2) years after being deemed eligible to test for the D license, based on MDEQ minimum requirements.
