Production Artist Intern

Hourly Rate: $17.75

Summary: Detail-oriented Production Artist Intern to support the execution and delivery of print and digital marketing materials. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the precision side of design, ensuring files are accurate, consistent, and production-ready across multiple formats and channels. You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life with a focus on quality, speed, and consistency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and support the development of motion graphics and animated content for:
  • Prepare and finalize production-ready files for:
  • Print (packaging, retail displays, signage, sell sheets)
  • Digital (web banners, emails, social assets)
  • Resize, adapt, and version assets across multiple formats and specifications
  • Ensure all files meet brand standards, technical specs, and quality control requirements
  • Set up files for print production (bleeds, trims, color profiles, resolution, preflight checks)
  • Optimize assets for web and digital performance (file size, formats, responsiveness)
  • Retouch and clean up imagery for both print and digital use
  • Organize and maintain file structures, naming conventions, and asset libraries
  • Support updates and revisions across ongoing projects and campaigns

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in video games and gaming culture.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Figma

 

Disclaimer: The compensation for this role is $17.75 per hour. This is the amount that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position to be performed in California.
