Faro is a 56-year-old company that specializes in high-quality, large-format printing, including signage, banners, wall/window graphics, decals, custom textiles, wallcoverings, and more. Faro provides products to a variety of clients from diverse industries, including retailers, educational institutions, marketing and event companies, interior designers, and others. Faro also has partnerships with a number of sister companies in other industries.
For the first time in its history, Faro is launching multiple marketing initiatives and undergoing a complete rebrand. This internship is an opportunity to experience and participate in all of the marketing and branding efforts that are underway.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support the development of the company’s new branding and marketing initiatives. This internship is ideal for students studying communication arts, graphic design, communication design, creative direction.
In this role, you’ll assist with developing a variety of marketing materials. You’ll see the emergence of a new brand and the development of materials to support it. This internship is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how marketing works in the printing, fabrication, and installation industry. It should also result in a variety of portfolio pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and updating of marketing materials including collateral, corporate communications, email content, webpages, social media campaigns, sales materials, and more
- Help coordinate and guide development, structure, and concepts for a redesigned company website
- Help create content for websites, social media, sales materials, and signage
- Update internal materials to reflect new branding
- Prepare print-ready files and web-ready assets
- Assist with collecting and organizing marketing assets, including photography and video
- Support internal teams with marketing-related projects
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication arts, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of following brand standards and creative direction
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn production standards
- Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Helpful to have an interest in printing production methods

Internship Details
- Part-time (18-24 hours per week)
- Hybrid (combination of on-site and remote based on availability and schedule)
- Starting at $15 per hour
- Duration: 3-6 months (flexible based on academic schedule and your school’s internship requirements for credit)*
- This position reports to the Marketing Director, who has nearly 40 years of marketing and advertising experience
*Applicants who wish to receive class credit for their internship will need to coordinate the details with their school advisor and Faro. The applicant is responsible for communicating the needs of the institution to Faro. We will complete any necessary paper work and make adjustments to the schedule and workload to fulfill university requirements.
