Counseling Center Receptionist
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure front desk operations at the SEHS Counseling Center run smoothly and efficiently. Specific job duties include:
- Greeting visitors, students, and staff
- Answering the phone system in a professional manner
- Accepting and processing new client registrations
- Assigning and recording client identification numbers
- Maintaining a client wait list and distributing new clients to practicum students as needed
- Notifying students in staff room when clients arrive for appointments
- Creating student files, instructor binders, and room sign-out sheets
- Wiping down surfaces in counseling center on a daily basis. as needed
- Replenishing supplies in the counseling rooms as needed
- Monitoring sign-in process of all students and visitors in the center
- Assisting with other duties as assigned
