Grade Level: K–8
Part-Time | After-School / Flexible Hours

We are looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Dance Instructor to lead engaging and structured dance classes for K–8 students in Dance Foundations: Rhythm, Technique & Performance.

 

This opportunity is open to anyone with a strong background in dance and a passion for teaching young learners. Whether you are a dancer, choreographer, student, or working professional, we welcome individuals who enjoy sharing their love for movement and performance.

 

No formal teaching credential required. We will provide general program goals and structure—you bring your creativity, technique, and energy for teaching.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Teach engaging dance classes for students in grades K–8
  • Instruct foundational techniques in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and/or K-Pop dance styles
  • Follow provided program goals and class structure
  • Create age-appropriate choreography and movement exercises
  • Teach rhythm, coordination, musicality, and performance skills
  • Foster a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment
  • Adapt instruction to different age groups and skill levels
  • Help students build confidence, discipline, and stage presence
  • Prepare students for basic performances or showcases (if applicable)
  • Communicate professionally with staff and support student progress

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in one or more of the following styles: hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, K-Pop
  • Comfortable teaching children (K–8) with varying skill levels
  • Ability to break down choreography and movement clearly
  • Energetic, patient, and engaging teaching style
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Ability to manage group classes effectively
  • Prior teaching or choreography experience is a plus but not required
