Discovery Biology - Intern

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting Nurix autoimmunity and inflammation programs to help identify novel disease and cell type targets, as well as assessing next-generation degraders.
• Culturing human cell lines, whole blood, PBMCs, and primary tissue-resident immune cells.
• Performing experiments to assess functional effects of protein degradation via flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD, and Jess SimpleWestern. 

Expected learning outcomes:

• Become proficient at designing experiments, writing protocols, performing immunological wet lab experiments, analyzing data, and communicating scientific findings to relevant teams.
• Learn about how discovery research and drug discovery efforts are conducted at a biotechnology company.
