Video Editor Intern
Seeking a creative video editor with a passion for visual storytelling to produce engaging social media content and promo videos for a concert and booking agency representing music artists.
This unpaid, educational internship follows U.S. Department of Labor FLSA guidelines and is designed for students receiving academic credit, with structured, hands-on training.
Responsibilities
- Edit 8–10 short-form videos (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and 2–3 promotional trailers
- Collaborate on concepts, pacing, captions, and storytelling for artist and concert promotion
- Sync audio, apply transitions, and incorporate basic motion graphics
- Organize and archive media files using Google Drive and project tools
What You’ll Learn
- Video production workflows for live music and artist promotion
- Editing techniques including pacing, transitions, and audio sync
- How visual content drives audience engagement for concerts and events
Qualifications
- Enrolled in film, media, communications, or related program (credit required)
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects/Canva a plus)
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and openness to feedback
