We are looking for a creative, organized Social Media & Digital Content Intern to support our growing digital presence. This intern will work directly under the Executive Director to execute a content calendar aligned with our brand voice and mission priorities. This is an execution role; you will not be making independent messaging decisions, but you will have real influence in how our mission reaches our community.

 

Responsibilities

  • Draft weekly social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn in D.O.V.E.S. brand voice
  • Design graphics using Canva, AI aligned with brand colors and fonts
  • Support event promotion for programming and community workshops
  • Assist with email newsletter content preparation
  • Maintain a content calendar and track post engagement

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • Proficiency in Canva, AI or willingness to learn
  • Strong writing skills with attention to tone and audience
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to meet deadlines independently

 

Preferred

  • Interest with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
  • Interest in domestic violence prevention, youth advocacy, or public health
