The Research, Data & Impact Measurement Intern will help D.O.V.E.S. Network build systems to track program outcomes, measure participant impact, and produce data-ready reports for social media, website, grant applications, and funder communications. This intern operates with a credibility-first standard; we only report what we can substantiate. This is a detail-driven, research-forward role ideal for someone who believes data should tell an honest story.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain program outcome tracking templates
  • Design pre- and post-session survey tools aligned with program goals
  • Compile and analyze participant feedback from workshops and school-based programming
  • Research relevant statistics and data sources in domestic violence, teen dating violence, and youth mental health
  • Produce clean impact summaries for grant applications and organizational profiles (Candid, AZGives)

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • Comfort with data collection, basic analysis, and data visualization
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel

 

Preferred

  • Experience with survey design tools (Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or similar)
  • Familiarity with reporting frameworks or logic models
  • Interest in domestic violence prevention, youth advocacy, or public health research
