Research Data Intern
The Research, Data & Impact Measurement Intern will help D.O.V.E.S. Network build systems to track program outcomes, measure participant impact, and produce data-ready reports for social media, website, grant applications, and funder communications. This intern operates with a credibility-first standard; we only report what we can substantiate. This is a detail-driven, research-forward role ideal for someone who believes data should tell an honest story.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain program outcome tracking templates
- Design pre- and post-session survey tools aligned with program goals
- Compile and analyze participant feedback from workshops and school-based programming
- Research relevant statistics and data sources in domestic violence, teen dating violence, and youth mental health
- Produce clean impact summaries for grant applications and organizational profiles (Candid, AZGives)
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Comfort with data collection, basic analysis, and data visualization
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
Preferred
- Experience with survey design tools (Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or similar)
- Familiarity with reporting frameworks or logic models
- Interest in domestic violence prevention, youth advocacy, or public health research
