Position Overview:
We’re seeking a politically engaged, creative, social-media-savvy intern to help amplify our voice online. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience creating and implementing a social media plan across digital platforms. As a Social Media Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping and sharing our message, growing our online presence, and engaging a national community of activists, voters, and supporters.
Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and publish content across platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook)
- Track news, political developments, and viral trends to create timely, relevant content
- Draft engaging copy that translates complex issues into clear, compelling posts
- Design visual content using tools like Canva (graphics, Reels, Stories, etc.)
- Contribute to broader communications strategy

Bonus Points For:
- Experience with political campaigns, student government, or issue-based advocacy
- Knowledge of key political issues, election cycles, or digital organizing
