Environmental Engineering Technician 1
- Perform site inspections to evaluate existing conditions for compliance with permit conditions.
- Assist with issuing inspection letters and Notices of Violation.
- Assess reclamation work to ensure compliance with approved plans and to approve reclamation or require remedial actions where appropriate.
- Review and assist in processing registration applications for solid waste management facilities.
- Maintaining database entries.
- Respond to and assist with investigation of complaints from the general public.
Intern would be expected to work Monday through Friday from 7:30-3:30 or 8:00-4:00.
Desired Skills:
Graduation from high school and 18 college semester credit hours with concentration toward any of the following: engineering, geology, environmental science, natural or physical science, drafting, mathematics, or surveying.
