Associate AI Engineer

Associate AI Engineer (New Graduate) – Office of the CTO
Mphasis Silverline
Maitland (Greater Orlando), Florida

We are building a focused team within the Office of the CTO at Mphasis Silverline to pursue new AI product avenues and modern AI development practices through a rapid prototyping-to-production model. This team will operate at the intersection of emerging AI capabilities and real enterprise use cases, with a mandate to quickly envision, compose, and deliver working solutions.

We are seeking driven early-career engineers with a demonstrable background in AI who can operate in an environment that prioritizes speed, precision, and accountability. Solutions will often be Salesforce-centric, but will also span a broader ecosystem of enterprise AI technologies, data platforms, and integration patterns.

This is a small, high-visibility team. Expectations are high. The upside is equally high for individuals who can consistently execute and contribute meaningful ideas.

What You Will Do
Design and build AI-driven solutions from concept through working prototype and into production-ready assets
Rapidly translate loosely defined business problems into technical approaches and working implementations
Work across Salesforce (e.g., Data Cloud, Agentforce) and external AI ecosystems (LLMs, vector databases, orchestration frameworks)
Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and internal IP
Participate in architecture discussions and defend technical decisions with clarity
Continuously iterate based on feedback, performance, and real-world constraints

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (recent graduate or graduating soon)
Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI/ML (projects, internships, research, or open-source contributions)
Practical experience with at least one of the following:
LLM application development (prompting, RAG, agents)
Python-based ML/AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain)
Data engineering or data pipeline construction
Ability to build working software, not just models or notebooks
Comfort operating with ambiguity and minimal direction
Strong bias toward execution over theory

What Will Differentiate You

Experience building end-to-end AI applications (not just components)
Exposure to Salesforce platform or enterprise SaaS ecosystems
Understanding of system design, APIs, and integration patterns
Evidence of speed: hackathons, shipped side projects, or rapid iteration cycles
Clear communication and the ability to explain technical concepts simply

Operating Model

Small, highly collaborative team within the CTO organization
Rapid cycles: prototype → validate → productionize
Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives
Focus on building repeatable solutions, not one-off experiments

Why This Role
This is not a traditional entry-level position. You will be expected to contribute quickly and visibly. In return, you will gain exposure to real enterprise problems, modern AI architectures, and the opportunity to shape how AI is applied across the organization.
