Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to elderly individuals in small assisted living facilities, or group home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document any changes or reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are followed.
- Engage in conversation and companionship with clients to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies for managing challenging behaviors.
- Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Must have a genuine passion for providing care and support to seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
