About the Internship

Millennium Eye Center is an optometry and integrative eye care clinic dedicated to clear vision, whole-body care, and lifelong support. We help children, adults, and families maintain healthy vision through eye exams, contact lenses, myopia control, dry eye care, low vision support, integrative eye care, patient education, and digital eye health resources.

We are seeking remote interns who are interested in healthcare, eye care, patient support, medical writing, digital health, healthcare administration, or patient education. This internship is designed for students, recent graduates, and motivated entry-level applicants who want to gain experience in a healthcare-focused environment.

The intern will help support patient education, healthcare content, clinic communication, and administrative projects. This may include helping create or organize patient-friendly materials, blog or newsletter drafts, service explanations, internal training resources, social content, appointment-related communication, and educational resources for patients and families.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, interns may assist with:

- Drafting and editing clear, patient-friendly healthcare content
- Helping create educational materials about eye exams, contact lenses, myopia control, dry eye care, low vision support, integrative eye care, and digital eye health
- Supporting blog, newsletter, website, and social media content drafts
- Organizing patient education resources and internal training materials
- Helping prepare simple service explanations for patients and families
- Assisting with appointment, referral, or administrative communication projects
- Researching basic eye care and wellness topics from reliable sources
- Proofreading materials for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and tone
- Supporting community outreach and digital communication efforts
- Working professionally with clinic staff and following healthcare privacy expectations
