About the Role
Millennium Eye Center is seeking a remote Medical Writing Intern to support patient education, healthcare content, and clinic communication projects. Millennium Eye Center provides eye care services for children, adults, and families, including eye exams, contact lenses, myopia control, dry eye care, low vision support, integrative eye care, and digital eye health education. The intern will help turn healthcare and eye-care information into clear, accurate, patient-friendly content.
Internship Responsibilities
The Medical Writing Intern may assist with:
- Writing and editing patient education materials
- Drafting simple, clear explanations of eye-care services and treatment options
- Supporting content for blogs, newsletters, website pages, and social media
- Helping organize internal training materials and patient-facing resources
- Researching basic eye health topics using reliable sources
- Summarizing healthcare information in a clear and easy-to-understand way
- Proofreading content for grammar, tone, accuracy, and clarity
- Assisting with digital communication and outreach projects
- Supporting administrative writing tasks for clinic operations
- Following privacy and confidentiality expectations in a healthcare setting

Schedule and Location
