Position Overview:
Lake Country Dance is looking for an experienced, passionate, and energetic Lead All Star Coach to guide and elevate our competitive dance program. We are especially seeking someone with college dance team experience, as that background aligns closely with the high standards and style of our teams.

This role is flexible and can be tailored to the right candidate — whether you’re looking for a few nights a week or are interested in a full-time salaried position, we’re open to building around your availability and experience level.

The Lead All Star Coach will work directly with our All Star teams, focusing on technical development, choreography, and preparing dancers for success at competitions. The ideal candidate is a strong technician and leader who brings knowledge, creativity, and a genuine love of coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and train All Star competition teams, emphasizing technical excellence and performance.
  
   
• Lead classes in pom, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical styles.
  
   
• Clean choreography with attention to detail and ensure consistency across team routines.
  
   
• Provide expert instruction in turn technique and other foundational skills.
  
   
• Collaborate with other coaches to ensure consistency and quality across the program.
  
   
• Potential to assist with administrative tasks including competition registration and USASF compliance.
  
   
• Foster a fun, supportive, and empowering team environment.
  
   
• Communicate clearly and professionally with dancers, parents, and staff.
  
   
• Serve as a positive role model and represent the values of Lake Country Dance.
  
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• College dance team experience is strongly preferred.
  
   
• Proven background in pom, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical.
  
   
• Expertise in “cleaning” routines and team synchronization.
  
   
• Strong understanding of turn technique and ability to coach from beginner to advanced levels.
  
   
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  
   
• Positive, approachable, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young dancers.
  
   
• Organized, dependable, and a team player.
