Host Producer & Storyteller

Summer Intern — Host, Producer & Community Storyteller

Decision Circuits Community | iCustomer · Reports to Jose Chan, COO Build the definitive media channel covering enterprise leaders driving AI-led transformation.

About iCustomer

iCustomer is the Agentic Decision OS for Growth Marketing used by teams at American Eagle, Untuckit and Crusoe to turn audience intelligence into decisions and orchestration. We also run Decision Circuits, an in-person event series and executive dinner circuit (co-hosted with partners like Scott Brinker, Analyst chiefmartec), Jay Schweldenson (#1 Marketing Podcast at Apple) and many more where CMOs, CDOs, and growth leaders gather to talk about what's actually working in the AI era.

The Opportunity

We're launching a neutral community-led video + podcast channel that captures the real stories behind AI transformation at the world's top consumer brands and enterprises. Think: part documentary, part vlog, part executive talk show hosted from dinner tables, conference stages, and the back rooms where the actual decisions get made.

This is a rare role for someone who wants to build a personal brand with substance not just chase views, but become a credible voice in the space every Fortune 1000 CMO is trying to figure out. You'll have direct access to senior operators, founders & advisors and a live community of buyers, builders, and investors.

If you want to be a famous vlogger and be taken seriously in the room, this is the internship.

What You'll Do

  • Host & MC. Front-of-camera at Decision Circuits events, executive dinners, and on-stage interviews. You're the face of the channel.
  • Produce. Capture audio and video across events, 1:1 leader interviews, and studio segments. Run the shoot, run the room.
  • Design the Look. Own the visual identity of the show thumbnails, title cards, lower-thirds, social cutdowns, event collateral. Every frame is a brand asset.
  • Edit & Publish. Cut video for YouTube, LinkedIn, and short-form (Reels/TikTok). Edit podcast episodes. Own the publishing calendar.
  • Build the Channel. Develop format, voice, and POV from scratch. Grow the audience with a clear editorial angle on AI in growth marketing.
  • Report. Write tight post-event recaps and work with Abhi on Substack tie-ins.

Who You Are

Undergrad, grad student, or recent grad (within the last 12 months) in Design, PR, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Film, or equivalent or a self-taught creator with a portfolio that speaks for itself.

  • Comfortable on camera and on stage. You can walk up to a CMO at a dinner and hold a real conversation.
  • A designer's eye cares about typography, composition, and visual consistency as much as the content itself.
  • Fluent with the creator stack: shooting (iPhone + mirrorless), audio capture, lighting basics, editing (Premiere / DaVinci / CapCut), podcast tools (Descript / Riverside), design tools (Figma / Adobe CC), and social publishing.
  • Naturally curious about enterprise tech, AI, and how big brands actually operate — you don't need to be an expert yet, you need to want to become one.
  • A builder, not a spectator. Ship fast, iterate, own outcomes.

Bonus Points

  • You already vlog, creator, podcast, or run a newsletter with real engagement.
  • You've covered tech, Retail, business, or founders before.
  • You have a POV on where AI is taking consumer brands and you can defend it.

Logistics

  • Duration: [10–12 weeks, summer 2026]
  • Location: Hybrid, based in [NYC]; meaningful travel to events.
  • Compensation: [Paid stipend + travel covered + equipment provided]
  • Reports to: Jose Chan, COO

How to Apply
