Full-Stack Engineer
The Role
We're hiring a junior full-stack engineer who wants to ship real product to real customers from day one. You'll work across our web platform (atllasx.com) and our native mobile apps, building the surfaces customers use to configure their AI agents, monitor live calls, and review transcripts and outcomes.
This isn't a "shadow a senior engineer for six months" role. You'll own features end-to-end, get code review from people who care about your growth, and see your work in production within your first week or two.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across our Next.js web app and our Swift-based iOS/macOS apps
- Design API endpoints and data models that connect our front-ends to our voice AI backend (telephony, transcription, LLM orchestration)
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-clean, responsive UI on both web and mobile
- Wire up real-time call monitoring, transcripts, and analytics dashboards so customers can see exactly what their AI agent is doing
- Integrate third-party tools customers rely on — CRMs, calendars, SMS, payment, telephony providers
- Fix bugs reported by customers, often within hours, and push back on the ones that point to deeper design issues
- Help us figure out how AI tooling fits into our own dev workflow — we use it heavily and expect you will too
What we're looking for
- 0–2 years of professional experience, an internship, or a portfolio of projects you can walk us through
- Comfortable in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern web framework (React, Next.js, or similar)
- Curiosity about mobile — prior Swift experience is a bonus, not a requirement, but you should be excited to learn it
- You can read an API spec, build against it, and notice when it's wrong
- You write code that other people can read six months later
- You ask questions when you're stuck instead of disappearing for two days
- You actually use the product you're building and have opinions about how to make it better
Nice to have
- Experience with voice/telephony APIs (Twilio, LiveKit, Vapi, Retell, etc.)
- Worked with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) in production code
- Built or contributed to a published iOS app
- Familiarity with WebRTC, websockets, or real-time streaming
- Comfort with Postgres, Redis, and basic cloud infra
