Position Summary
The Social Team Lead oversees the campaign’s digital presence and online engagement strategy. This role is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content that amplifies the candidate’s message, engages supporters, and drives voter awareness. The Social Media Team Lead works closely with the Public Relations Teams and other Teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital platforms.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the campaign’s social media strategy across platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Manage day-to-day posting, engagement, and moderation on all campaign social media accounts
  • Coordinate with the Public Relations and Graphic Design teams to create on-brand, persuasive, and timely digital content
  • Monitor analytics and audience engagement to optimize content performance and inform campaign strategy
  • Support rapid response and real-time communications during news cycles, debates, and major campaign events
  • Collaborate with field, fundraising, and press teams to amplify key messages and initiatives
  • Maintain a content calendar and production schedule to ensure timely delivery of posts and campaigns
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics to campaign leadership
  • Stay current on trends, platform updates, and emerging digital tools to maximize the campaign’s online impact
  • Ensure all digital communications reflect the campaign’s voice, tone, and compliance guidelines
