Content Creator Intern
Position Overview
We’re looking for a creative, motivated intern who is passionate about content creation and wants real-world experience working with a growing lifestyle brand. This role is ideal for a college student pursuing marketing, media, film, or a related field who wants hands-on experience shooting and editing content for social media and brand campaigns.
You’ll work directly with the founder and play a key role in capturing and creating content for Skroove’s digital channels.
Location: 4314 Rochester Rd. Royal Oak, Michigan
Duration: June 1, 2026 – Mid August 2026 (10-week internship, includes a flexible holiday week around the 4th of July)
Schedule: 16 hours/week (2 days per week, ~8 hours/day)
Compensation: Unpaid (College credit offered)

Responsibilities
- Shoot photo and video content for Skroove products, marketing campaigns, and events
- Edit content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms
- Assist in planning and executing content shoots (product, in-store, outdoor, lifestyle)
- Help develop creative concepts for social media content
- Organize and manage media files and content library
- Support product launches, events, and marketing campaigns
- Assist with light behind-the-scenes production tasks

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college/university (Marketing, Film, Media, Communications, or similar preferred)
- Experience shooting photo and/or video (mirrorless camera and iPhone)
- Basic editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, PhotoshopFinal Cut, CapCut, etc.)
- Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok)
- Creative eye for content and storytelling
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Interest in snowboarding, golf, skateboarding, or lifestyle brands is a plus
Bonus (Not Required)
- Knowledge of trends in short-form content
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Experience shooting action sports or lifestyle content
