Content Creator

What Will You Do?

Content Creators will be embedded on campus, working alongside our organizers to:

Capture and produce engaging digital content (TikToks, Instagram Reels, graphics, memes, and more) to highlight our voter engagement work.

Create engaging social media content that informs, mobilizes, and inspires young people to take action.

Amplify For Michigan’s presence across social media, ensuring our events and initiatives reach the widest possible audience.

Tell the story of our impact—why our work matters, how we’re shaping elections, and why students should get involved.

Experiment with new and creative engagement strategies to reach diverse student communities.

Analyze content performance to optimize engagement and effectiveness.

Support collaborations with student influencers and community partners to expand our reach.

All other duties as assigned.


 

Who Are You?

You will be successful if you:

 

Have a passion for storytelling, content creation, and digital organizing.

Be an active social media user with an eye for trends and best practices across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.

Have experience creating digital content (videos, graphics, photography, or copywriting) in a professional, academic, or personal setting.

Be comfortable filming, interviewing, and engaging with students in person to document For Michigan’s work.

Be scrappy, flexible, and creative, able to produce high-quality content on quick turnaround timelines.

Have strong time management skills to balance multiple content requests and deadlines.

Be committed to increasing civic engagement and empowering young people through digital storytelling.
