Finance Clerk/Receptionist

Duration: 3 - 6 months

Position Overview

The Finance Clerk / Receptionist provides administrative and clerical support to the Corporate Finance Department while serving as the first point of contact for visitors. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression of RCO by greeting and assisting guests in a professional, friendly manner. In addition, the position supports Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions through data entry, filing, mail distribution, and invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Support (AP/AR):

  • Assist the Finance Department with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks
  • Perform daily 3-way matching of invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders
  • Process AR invoices as needed
  • Complete data entry related to AP and AR functions
  • Maintain organized and accurate AP/AR filing systems
  • Open, sort, and distribute daily mail

Reception & Front Desk Duties:

  • Greet visitors promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Assist visitors with signing in using the visitor tracking system
  • Notify hosts of guest arrivals and ensure visitors are directed appropriately

General Administrative Duties:

  • Typing, filing, and general office support
  • Collaborate with 3–5 members of the Finance Department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1–2 years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and basic mathematical skills
  • General office skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred

Preferred Skills & Experience

  1. 1–2 years of AP/AR experience within the manufacturing industry
  2. Strong attention to detail
  3. Highly organized
  4. Effective communication skills with customers and internal team
