Sales Intern

Our Sales Team is looking to grow and develop the future leaders of sales. This role is an exciting opportunity for you to gain firsthand experience in prospecting, shadowing demo calls, engaging with and qualifying leads, enhancing your communication skillset with clients and learning from the top performers at Bectran. This internship is onsite based in our HQ located in Schaumburg, IL. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Engage prospective customers by phone and email to schedule qualified demos. 
  • Partner closely with the Business Development and Account Executive team to ensure strong communication and proper hand-offs. 
  • Grow your knowledge in key areas such as product, competitive market, industry, and more. 
  • Shadow and support demo calls, engaging with prospects to help push deals through the sales cycle. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing on projects to help generate opportunities for the sales team. 
  • Meet with various members of the sales team regularly to strategize on deals. 
  • Accurately enter and maintain clean data in our CRM (Salesforce.com). 

  

What You Need to Be Successful: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with a strong interest in pursuing professional sales. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Personable, outgoing and energetic. 
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, and a quick-learner. 
  • Team Player: Be willing to roll up your sleeves and work cross-functionally. 
  • Eagerness to grow/learn.

Compensation & Benefits: 

In accordance with Illinois' pay transparency requirements, we are committed to providing clear compensation information. The pay for this position starts at $22- $23 per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges are subject to change based on evolving market conditions or business needs. 

Benefits: Not Applicable for internships.
