Festival Operations Coordinator
Please read the entire job listing before applying. Generic applications will not be considered.
The Big Dill® is hiring a paid, project-based Festival Staffing Coordinator to help build and manage the people system behind our 2026 national festival tour.
This is a real résumé-building opportunity for someone who wants to work in live events, hospitality, entertainment, HR, operations, or experiential marketing. You will not be sitting on the sidelines. You will help organize the people who make the festival happen.
The Big Dill is the brand behind the World’s Largest Pickle Party®, with a 2026 tour across Baltimore, Arlington/DFW, and Philadelphia. Our events take place at major entertainment destinations and bring together thousands of guests, vendors, sponsors, creators, and live entertainment moments.
This role is about learning how a real event team gets recruited, vetted, onboarded, trained, scheduled, and managed.
Our internal team will build the backend systems. Your role is to help run the process and keep the people side organized. You will work with leadership to review applicants, help coordinate interviews, track paperwork, organize staff communication, prepare welcome guides, support training reminders, and help place team members into the right event-day roles.
You will get hands-on experience using tools like Monday.com, Klaviyo, Calendly, DocuSign, Slack, Zoom, Google Sheets, Canva, Photoshop, Shopify, Zapier, and AI tools. You do not need to be an expert in every platform on day one, but you should be comfortable learning systems and keeping details organized.
This is a good fit for someone who is calm under pressure, great with people, highly organized, and interested in how live events actually operate behind the scenes.
You may help organize teams for gate, vendor support, VIP, stage support, guest services, runners, team leads, and activation support.
Approved event travel expenses will be covered. Paid work may include remote prep, event-week support, and on-site festival work.
Before applying: please read the full listing. In your cover letter, include the phrase “live-fire event experience” and answer:
- What experience do you have organizing people, teams, schedules, or events?

Please submit a personalized cover letter that shows you researched The Big Dill® and understand the role. Generic cover letters will not be considered. To confirm you read the full posting, include this phrase in your cover letter: “live-fire event experience.”
